International Mindedness

(3 day course) (Monday 26th,Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th July)

This course is designed to provide the opportunity for you to challenge your own knowledge and understanding of International Mindedness and to share experiences of international learning in your own school context with other leaders for international learning

By the end of the course you will:

  • know about the development of international experiences for learners
  • be able to plan and promote them in the classroom and throughout the school
  • be able to model international mindedness
  • increase your capacity as a teacher and leader for international mindedness

Steven is the Director of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). He has worked with IPC since 2006, in both supporting schools around the world wishing to adopt and implement the curriculum and continuing to develop the IPC to meet the needs of 21st century learners. Prior to this, he has held teaching, management and leadership positions in schools in both the UK and overseas. Steven’s main areas of interest include educational leadership, change management and effective learning and through this he has been able to work with IPC schools from around the world to develop strategies that lead to improved learning.
