Great Learning at the IPC Summer School

It doesn't matter how long you have worked with the IPC (if at all) or how experienced you are as a teacher or leader, you will be warmly welcomed.
Summer School is the big IPC event of the year and takes place in the wonderful surroundings of the University of Greenwich. Last year there were 140 delegates from 25 countries all over the world.
You will be engaged, enthused and inspired.

(2 day course) (Monday 27th – Tuesday 28th July)This course will guide you through implementing and using the IPC Early Years Programme in your school environment. Throughout the course there will be the opportunity to reflect on your own practice, gain knowledge about the IPC Early Years Programme, learn new practical ideas to enhance children’s learning and have fun working together with international colleagues.

Throughout the course there will be the opportunity to reflect on your own practice, gain knowledge about the IPC Main Programme, learn new practical ideas to enhance children’s learning and have fun working together with international colleagues.

(2 day course) (Monday 27th – Tuesday 28th July)This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to successfully manager the IPC within your school. It will cover a broad range of topics ranging from exploring the aims and principles of the IPC to proving everyday handy practical tips and practical solutions to the implementation.

(2 day course) (Monday 27th – Tuesday 28th July)If we believe in learning, then we must also believe that children should receive ongoing feedback about how their learning progressing and how it can be improved. This course explores the principles of Assessment for Learning and looks at ways of implementing it in your school.

(2 day course) (Monday 27th – Tuesday 28th July)This course is designed to support IPC practitioners working with EAL learners. It will be a mixture of practical ‘hands on’ ideas that support the IPC aims and principles. It will give you a chance to explore and discuss some of the challenges of engaging EAL learners effectively into your IPC curriculum.

(3 day course) (Monday 27th – Wednesday 29th July)This course is designed for practitioners who are planning to take the IPC accreditation protocol to help move their school from Good to Great. This course will give delegates the opportunity to consider how evidence can be collected in the nine areas of IPC Accreditation to inform the self review and accreditation process.
